I purchased a pack of 12" paper in a nursery theme, not because I liked the theme but because it had background papers that I really liked. But I challenged myself to use of the pieces that were definitely in the nursery theme. In this case I punched some little outfits out of a big sheet and matted them onto a larger circle of green cardstock. I cut a strip from another sheet and matted it with pink and placed that behind the circles. I embellished with little plastic flowers and gem and I put little spots of clear Glaze pen on the little designs on the dresses. The circle stamp was inked with black and stamped on pink and I rounded the end. I also added some narrow satin ribbon. Yellow and green strips were cut for each side. The card itself was stamped with a background stamp and the edges were inked with Old Paper Distress Ink. Now who's having a baby girl?!
Sharing some of my exploration into the world of art. I'll include some stamped work, digital work, photography and maybe even some journaling.
