Burlap seems to have been around forever and it has a rustic, country feel which is unique. I wouldn't want to wear anything sewn with it but it's good for utilitarian purposes--and art. I added paint to the background and used an unpainted strip for contrast. The leaves are die cut, the butterfly punched and the flower is a commercial one. What have you done with burlap recently? It's quite popular right now.
I'm certainly missing the burlap boat. Magic Mesh just surfaced during a big sort.
