High Tea at the Heathman Hotel in downtown Portland OR
This bronze sculpture, by artist Jim Gion, greets guests at the hotel. It was unveiled in May 2010 after being donated by the Banfield Pet Hospital, to celebrate the Heathman Hotel's pet-friendly tradition. It is depicted wearing a Beefeater costume and modeled after Zelda, an English bulldog who was the star of Zelda Wisdom. The bowl is kept full of fresh water for the enjoyment of bypassing canines. What a handsome devil.
