It's a panoramic view as the California Zephyr comes down the Rocky Mountains onto the plains. We recently had this view with storm clouds. I was in a moving train with just the camera on my iPhone do didn't know if the photo would come out, but I am pleased with the result. If you haven't been on the train recently, you should give it a try and especially the route between Grand Junction and Denver.
