Women of all ages sang a welcome song before we were allowed inside the village. They all wore these colorful beaded necklaces. Judging from the people we saw as we traveled along the various roads, this colorful clothing and the beaded necklaces are only for special occasions.I know they celebrate a marriage and the birth of a baby but we didn't hear of other celebrations. Perhaps there are some religion based celebrations.
