There were a few bird exhibits at the High Desert Museum. I didn't make note of what type of owl this is but he stood maybe a foot high. Why he stood on only one leg I don't know but he was so still I almost thought he was stuffed--then he moved and I knew he was real. Cute little thing.
Oh, that is funny. Birds usually like standing on one leg when they are resting or sleeping. I could never do that without toppling over.
