It's hard to believe that the area we live in was once covered by water. But there's a lot of sandstone around to make it believable. This is one of the formations we encountered on the No Thoroughfare Trail. It's big but looks like a child made mudcakes and overlapped them a bit. It can be said that I have a vivid imagination.
